GMA-7′s Reaction on Angel’s move…

GMA-7′s senior vice president for entertainment, Wilma Galvante, didn’t wait for the weekend to pass as she voiced out her disappointment with Angel Locsin’s definite transfer to rival network ABS-CBN. Speaking to Showbiz Central hosts Pia Guanio and Raymond Gutierrez by telephone, the usually calm Galvante sounded very upset, saying that she and GMA-7 as an organization was shocked and saddened by this recent development.

“We nurtured her… we made her the star that she is,” Galvante lamented.

Angel started her career with GMA-7 and was molded over the past five years as one of the network’s prized talents. Angel’s partnership with GMA-7 had worked wonders for both parties as evidenced by all the success they reaped while working together.

The dusky young actress’s co-managerial contract with GMA expired last March 31, making her a freelancer. She’s now free to work with any network of her choice without any clause of exclusivity.

Angel is currently in London taking a two-week crash course on fashion design. According to reports, Angel will buckle down to work as a Kapamilya actress as soon as she returns this August.

When the news confirming Angel’s move first came out, a GMA-7 program manager remarked that they were not making any comment since they did not want to make a big deal out of the issue. But Galvante, in behalf of the management, couldn’t help but feel slighted by their former favorite talent.

The Kapuso executive was obviously displeased with Angel and her manager Becky Aguila’s seeming lack of courtesy in dealing with the entire matter as all negotiations were done behind closed doors.

The buzz surrounding Angel’s transfer has being going on for several weeks now, even as Kapamilya insiders consistently rebuffed reports that Angel’s manager was in constant negotiation with network officials.

Becky for her part has said that she’s only working for her client’s best interest and that they’re only taking full advantage of the fact that Angel in now free to work with anyone, a benefit she never enjoyed as an exclusive GMA-7 talent for five years.

it was indeed another  starstruck phenomenon that heat the philippine primetime viewing ..again and again .trully last nights final judgement was very intense, very heart pounding evening   @ the marikina sports park where almost ten thousand people are watching at the said venue all of the diehard fans of the  six final survivors where shouting for their starstruck bets…..to  win in the said reality comp. the host of the reality tv comp. composed of raymond ,jolina and dingdong where also very excited  for who will be this nights ultimate winners …. and also the starstruck council composed of louie ignacio ,lorna tolentino and mr. douglas quijano with there special council ms.wilma galvante and ms.anette gozon abrogar are now ready to critique in the presentations of the survivor 6.

miss maggie wilson the pride of bacolod and a kapuso star of  gma-7 recently grabbed the title in Bb.pilipinas as the new rep. in miss world in poland. but according to some people ms.maggie is not qualified to be in the said comp. why? because she is not a highschool graduate. she is only a fourth year student .here is the comment of maggie in her column in PEP.ph

HINDI PO HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE SI MARGARET… puede siyang i-dethrone any minute now. sana nag-graduate muna siya bago sumali. malaking kaso ito kaya tutukan po ninyong lahat. ito ay maliwanag na panlilinlang. kasangkot dito ang GMA7 , na co-presentor ng BB PILIPINAS… puedeng masara ang istasyon/network dahil napakalaking FRAUDULENT ACT ITO… abangan!!!!!

but according to GMA-7 pinayagan naman si maggie na sumali sa bb.pilipinas dahil graduating naman sya this month… at hindi kasangkot ang GMA-7 kaya how dare this person talks to gma-7 like that…????

Nakausap ng PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Direk Maryo J. delos Reyes habang hinihintay namin ang formal launching ng Bagets Foundation kung saan siya ang Chairman of the Board.
